Glacier National Park Ep.1

Have you ever wondered what life was like back in the day?

Mr. Lunch and I arrived at Glacier National Park, Montana. After many hours of driving, we were treating ourselves to a little something sweet called, huckleberry jam.

The name of the state, Montana derived from the Spanish word, Montana which means mountains. Montana lives up to its many beloved nicknames such as “Big Sky Country” and “The Treasure State.”

The grand beauty of Montana simply nurtured and humbled me.

We were staying our first night in Glacier national park at this charming little cabin in Polebridge.
This primitive cabin took me back in time. A little piece of experience to taste what life was like back in the frontier days.

Simple pleasures of cooking in the cabin made me sing whilst I was preparing our delightful meal. Simple dishes are often the best ones to enjoy.

The next day, we drove further north into Glacier National Park. The vibrant color contrast of changing leaves against blue sky never ceases to entertain me.

We were camping a few nights at Kintla Lake, exploring and experiencing the bounty of beauties around us. Kintla Lake is a majestic lake that lies in the wild Northwest corner of Glacier National Park.

Spending time in nature is like a reset button for your mind and body. Your phone is not the only thing that needs a reset button. Allow yourself to rest and rejuvenate by simply taking a walk around the block in your own neighborhood. Get outside. Move your body. Breathe in the fresh air. Your ability to savor simple joys in your life will determine whether you thrive or survive.
